At our recent Boards for the Barrio event, we united with our friends in the ‘Slope to celebrate the transformative power of skateboarding!
This unforgettable day was made even more impactful with the support of local champions: Kate Brophy McGee, Debra Stark, and Jeff Tisot. By working closer with the City, we are able to enrich more lives of children through skateboarding, while also empowering our communities and city leaders!
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City of Phoenix for their parks activation grant, which helped make this event possible. A special thank you also goes out to our beloved Skateboard Angel donors — because of their incredible generosity, over 100 brand-new skateboards were gifted to kids in the Sunnyslope neighborhood.
